The MIDI File Vocoder
The MIDI File Vocoder combines two MIDI files into one, using a method inspired by an audio vocoder. It takes the rhythmic and dynamic qualities of the modulator and applies them to the carrier, reshaping the carrier's notes to align with the modulator’s activity. If you want more activity in the output file, try increasing the bandwidth. Vocoder A and B are two different approaches to the same idea – just try them both and see, which one works better for you!
